The Smile estrena canción y anuncia fecha de lanzamiento de su álbum debut
El disco de la agrupación integrada por Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood y Tom Skinner se lanzará el 13 de mayo.
Luego de lanzar sencillos como “The smoke”, “You will never work in television again” o “Skrting on the surface”, The Smile presenta una nueva canción, “Free in the knowledge”, y anuncia el lanzamiento de su álbum debut que se titulará A light for attracting attention.
Este disco verá la luz el próximo 13 de mayo a través de la casa discográfica XL Recordings, tendrá en total 13 canciones y según Thom Yorke, no busca encajar en ningún canon estético por lo que el resultado de las canciones es totalmente ecléctico.
El más reciente adelanto del disco, “Free in the knowledge”, llega acompañado de un videoclip dirigido por Leo Leigh, que contiene escenas dramáticas de algunos rituales de catarsis emocional y despertar espiritual.
